Just posted my first short story to the site! It is titled Years Apart and is about two lives torn apart by the dilation of time due to relativistic space travel. Relativity plays a role in some of my favorite works of science fiction, such as The Forever War by Joseph Haldeman and the short film Voices of a Distant Star directed by Makoto Shinkai. This isn’t my most polished piece of work but it is one that I really enjoyed writing due to the concept. Feel free to share your thoughts on the story here!
